Natalie Cole, the singer who followed in the foosteps of her famous father Nat King Cole, has passed away at the age of 65. The official cause of death, according to TMZ, was congestive heart failure, but the website reports she had underlying issued of complications from a kidney transplant.
Cole was a dynamic singer and performer, with hits like “This Will Be”, ‘Inseparable” and “I’ve Got Love on My Mind.” In 1991 she broke new ground, performing a ‘duet’ with a video of her famous father singing his classic “Unforgettable.”
The singer had cancelled a few concert dates this December due to illness. She’d suffered with numerous health issues recently, including hepatitis C. She died in LA.
Married 3 times, Natalie Cole leaves behind a son.
