Since the surfacing of a ;long list of women and their sexual assault ;allegations ;against Bill Cosby, many have voiced their opinions on how the comedy legend’s personal matters could possibly tarnish the reputation of “The Cosby Show.”

During an interview with The Grio, former “The Cosby Show” actress, Keshia Knight Pulliam shared her thoughts on the future of the iconic show’s legacy.

“Based upon the people that continuously approach me and talk about how it’s profoundly impacted their lives, I don’t feel you can take that back,” Pulliam said. “You can’t take back the impact that it’s had on generations of kids, and it’s continuing to have such a positive impact on them.”

“So I feel like the place that it has in people’s hearts is such a nostalgic part of childhood and beyond, it’s going to be difficult to take back those memories.”

Pulliam also underscored her comments made during a January interview with NBC’S “Today” where she said the allegations against Cosby don’t reflect her own personal experiences ;with him. ;

“My comment doesn’t really change, because, still, regardless of how many… that’s just not the man I know,” she said ;to The Grio. “That’s not who I experienced. I never had that interaction with him, so I can’t speak to it.”

The actress’ latest comments follows one ;accuser, Chloe Gains, filing a civil lawsuit against the comedian on Tuesday alleging he drugged and molested her when she was a minor at the Playboy Mansion in 2008. According to Reuters, the suit charges Cosby with childhood sexual abuse, requests a jury trial and damages exceeding $75,000.
