With the gowns, the statues, the speeches, the rules and the voting, the Oscars is one formal affair.

But we wanted to remind you that the awards show should be all about the magic of the movies, so we had a little fun with this year’s nominees.

In preparation for the Feb. 28 show, we went on a “Revenant”-like mission and turned our photo database “Inside Out.” Our “Bridge of Spies” unearthed the perfect cartoon doppelgängers for 11 nominated films. Check them out below.
