LOL. Geraldo Rivera reacted to the negative press he got this week after getting into a tense altercation with protesters in Baltimore on Tuesday. While speaking on WBAL NewsRadio 1090’s morning show, host Bryan Nehman asked the Fox News personality if he was being an “agitator” and “stirring up” conflict by being there in the first place. Of course, Rivera asserted that it was his “celebrity” that caused the problem. “I’m just the most famous person,” he said. “I am a lightning rod in that regard.

But I can’t allow my celebrity to prevent me from doing my job.

Nehman then suggested that maybe protesters were mostly annoyed that Rivera was there with his cameras very close to the 10 p.m. curfew. Rivera didn’t like that.

“What do you want? Do you want me to stay home?” he shot back. “I mean, it is absolutely preposterous that my presence is inciting people, per se.”
