As she continues to dominate polls, it appears Hillary Clinton has scored another supporter.

Award-winning rapper-actor Common recently expressed his support for the former Secretary of State when he was asked ;during an interview with the Grio ;his thoughts on 2016 frontrunners.

“I think it would be wonderful if we would get a woman in for president,” he said. “I think it could be something powerful, in that I think Hillary is more aligned with what I believe would be a better president than Donald Trump. She definitely strikes me as someone that would serve our country and the world better as a president, so that’s where I would put my vote right now.”

Common’s support for a female president comes after less enthusiasm from another rapper last week, when ;T.I. made sexist comments ;regarding Hillary Clinton’s candidacy and explained why he wouldn’t vote for a woman president. He later ;apologized on Twitter ;for his “insensitive” comments.
