Twista now joins artists like Chief Keef, Meek Mill, Lil Durk and others who have spoken out about Capo’s death. He also shared his overall thoughts on the extreme wave of violence in his hometown. ;

I’m pretty sure none of the young cats that’s affiliated with what’s going on would wish this type of drama to take this type of course or take the lives that it’s taken,” Twista said. “It’s just crazy, wild in the city right now and these kids gotta get something else to do besides paying attention to the stuff they’re paying attention to.”

In the video, the “Overnight Celebrity” rapper said he went through the same issues growing up in Chicago and offers advice to younger generations on how to curb the violence. ;

“You gotta be real careful with what you do and what you say out here,” he advises, “because your actions and your words can last a lifetime. They can come back on you 10, 20 years later.”
