Lil B, aka the Based God, wears many hats. Sometimes, he can be warm and loving.

But sometimes, he can be cold and curse-inflicting, like he was on Thursday night as LeBron James and his Cleveland Cavaliers fell in overtime to Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors in Game 1 of the NBA Finals.

We’ve written at length about Lil B’s curses, and the suffering they inflict on those unwilling to own up to his demands. Suffice it to say James Harden and Kevin Durant can explain how it works, should they actually provide an honest answer. ESPN is certainly aware of their power, placing Lil B’s tweet right below LeBron in what was the most impressively subtle shade we’ve seen thrown in at least four days.

But the more philosophical question here is this: If Cleveland sports is already struggling with a curse bestowed on it by forces other than Lil B, and then Lil B inflicts a separate curse, do those two curses cancel one another out? Or do they combine into one, like, really, really bad curse? Think about it, man. Think about it.
