Attorney General Eric Holder released a video Friday announcing new guidelines for law enforcement officers for maintaining order during protests. The announcement comes ahead of a grand jury’s decision on whether to indict Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson, who shot and killed 18-year-old Michael Brown in August. “This is the hard work that is necessary to preserve the peace and to maintain the public trust at all times, particularly in moments of heightened community tension,” Holder says in the video.
