And then he won the NBA championship. ; While Curry had been making waves in the league for years, his 2014-2015 campaign pushed him into the highest echelon of NBA superstars — despite, and perhaps in spite of, the warnings and wary comments that filled his scouting reports coming out of college. In a new ad for CoachUp, Curry read out a selection of those comments, many of which seem ironic at best given his recent success. ; Here are a few of the remarks, paired with some pretty damning proof of their falsity: “…

“He needs to considerably improve as a ball handler … ”

;“[Curry] is not a great finisher around the basket … ” ;

“He will have limited success at the next level … ” ;

“Do not rely on him to run your team … ” ;

Now, with those ;couple pieces ;of hardware under his belt, it looks like the naysayers are finally silenced.
