Regal is an adjective that immediately comes to mind when describing Viola Davis’ red carpet style, and she looked just as queenly at the 2016 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday night.
The nominee for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series, Drama took our breath away in a navy dress with jeweled embellishments that reminded us of a star-studded night — literally. This shade of blue is a departure from the bright white gowns and jeweled-toned dresses we’re used to seeing Davis wear. Yet, it still popped against her radiant complexion along with those Jacob & Co. drop earrings and pear-shaped diamond ring.
Guessing by this Instagram photo Davis shared before the show, we’re pretty sure her daughter Genesis gave her mother’s Golden Globes ensemble two thumbs up. And we’re totally with her!
