Tracy Morgan jumped onstage Monday night at the Comedy Cellar in New York City. It was the first time ;the “Saturday Night Live” and “30 Rock” star has performed since his ;June 2014 accident.
The accident — wherein a Walmart semi truck slammed ;into Morgan’s limousine on the New Jersey turnpike — killed comedian James “Jimmy Mack” McNair, ;badly injured ;two other passengers and ;left Morgan in a coma for two weeks ;with severe injuries.
But Morgan’s recovery seems to be ;heading in the right direction. This summer, after ;an emotional interview ;with ;Matt Lauer on his process of healing, Morgan ;was spotted walking without a cane and driving ;on his own. Most recently, he appeared onstage at last month’s ;Emmys, saying ;he’d finally started feeling like himself again.
“Which means a whole lot of y’all women gonna get pregnant at the after-party,” he joked. ;
Yeah, seems like he’s back.
