Tyrese understands the undying love for his pairing with Henson, he told host Alyona Minkovski.
“When it comes to Taraji, because we did ‘Baby Boy’ together, people don’t want to see her with any other man, and they don’t want to see me with any other woman. It’s almost like Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams from ‘The Notebook,'” he said.
In fact, Tyrese is among the people who don’t want to see Henson with another man, and he’s hoping to rectify that in a future season of “Empire.”
“I don’t like this Derek Luke dude kissing all over my girl. I don’t like Terrence [Howard] kissing all over her. It bothers me, and we’re gonna have to figure this shit out,” Tyrese said.
