The 29-year-old actress — who starred on “The Cosby Show” from 1989 to 1992, “Hangin’ With Mr. Cooper” from 1993 to 1997, “Kim Possible” from 2002 to 2007 and “That’s So Raven” from 2003 to 2007 — opened up about her personal experiences while discussing ;childhood insecurities during the “Hot Topics” ;segment of “The View” Tuesday.

“I had issues at 7,” she said. “It was definitely hard. I remember not being able to have the bagel or anything. We call it ‘crafty,’ where it’s just a table of food ready for you to eat whatever you want, and I remember people were like, ‘You can’t eat that; you’re getting fat.’ And I’m like, ‘I’m 7. I’m hungry.'”

;She would not reveal the individuals who scolded her. ;

“I’m not gonna put them on blast, but that’s what I was told at that young of an age, even up until I got up to 180 pounds on ‘That’s So Raven,'” she said. “You know, you put nasty stuff in front of me or you put these images of women that I’ll never aspire to, of course I’m gonna get depressed. It’s more than just the food.” ;

She dropped 70 pounds ;back in 2011, in part because of the critics. ;

“I lost weight to keep them people from talking to me. I got tired and irritated,” she told Oprah in February. ;”I was proud at the time. I was. And I am. I love my thicky, thicky self. But now that I lost weight, it’s like, ‘OK, wait, let me go back in the gym and get it together.'” But Raven has noticed a shift in the industry. “As soon as I lost weight, it became thick-girl season. Everyone just started to be thick on television. I’m like, ‘Are they getting the same backlash as I am? Because I was thick.'”
