Earlier this month the reality-turned-Broadway star told “Watch What Happens Live” host Andy Cohen that the show’s panelist — namely Joy Behar and Raven-Symoné — were “not kind” and were “very shady” during her appearance in November. ; ;

On Monday during an interview with E! News, Symoné responded to Leakes’ comments by apologizing to the reality star. ;

“I feel sad for her. She came to my house party,” Symone said before adding. “I don’t understand what happened, but that’s her right if she felt that way. Just like our opinion, that’s her opinion. Sorry, girl. My bad.”

Since appearing on “The View” as a guest co-host earlier this year — to later landing a permanent seat in June — the former “Cheetah Girls” star has made numerous headlines over her candid viewpoints, from Michelle Obama’s appearance to claiming she wouldn’t hire someone with a ‘black’ name.

These controversial comments eventually prompted an online petition in October to remove Symoné from the daytime talk show. Despite the backlash, she told E! News that her role on the show is to express her opinion.

“I’m in a job where it’s about opinions and it’s about my opinion on certain things,” she said. “And so, everyone gets scrutinized for their opinion even though we live in America and we’re supposed to have free speech, you still get scrutinized, you still get penalized. And I think that the best way that I can handle it is say my peace, stand behind my truth and move on myself.”
