The fatally shot suspect was described as a black man in his early 20s, according to St. Louis Today.
“What I know right now is that somebody pointed a gun at police officers,” Dotson told the publication.
Inside the home, cops found four more guns and crack cocaine.
The shooting comes just days after a 93-year-old Tuskegee Airman was carjacked ;at the same intersection ;where Wednesday’s violence occurred, according to Fox 2 Now.
