'Hamilton' Scene Stealer Leslie Odom, Jr. Chose Finishing College Over First Big Broadway Offer

‘Hamilton’ is the hottest ticket in town.  And Leslie Odom, Jr, who plays Vice President Aaron Burr in the hit musical, is surely one to watch. The Philly reared dynamo had a chance to be in another hit Broadway show years ago, but revealed to veteran entertainment journalist Karu F. Daniels that he elected to finish college first. It paid off, too. Although he appears in hit TV shows such as ‘Person Of Interest,’ ‘Law & Order: SVU’ and ‘House of Lies,’ he’s receiving the biggest notices of his career for ‘Hamilton.’
