Hill colored his hair an aggressive version of Larry Bird-blond ;this summer, but Monday’s game marked the first time that Popovich was lucky enough to see the new coif in person. Of course, ;the ever-opinionated Popovich couldn’t resist making a few jabs at his former player when Hill jogged past the San Antonio bench in the third quarter.
“I like it,” he seems to be saying, and soon we were all saying that, as Popovich painted the picture of dying his own hair blond in an interview following the contest.
“I love it,” he said of Hill’s hair color. “I wish I had the guts he has. That could really turn some heads.”
Please, please, somebody hand Pop a bottle of hydrogen peroxide before he changes his mind. ;
