LOS ANGELES (AP) — The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences says David Hill and Reginald Hudlin will produce the 88th Oscars telecast.

Hill is a 25-year Fox veteran and former chairman and CEO of Fox Sports Media Group. Hudlin is an Oscar-nominated producer for the 2012 film “Django Unchained.”

The Academy announced Tuesday that they’ll take up the mantle from Neil Meron and Craig Zadan, who produced the show for the past three years. Meron and Zadan’s stint ended this past year with a sizable ratings drop when Neil Patrick Harris hosted the proceedings.

In a statement, Hill says he and Hudlin aim to honor film and “above all, make it fun.”

The Academy Awards will be broadcast live on ABC on Sunday, Feb. 28.
