Brooklyn rapper Ackquille Pollard, aka Bobby Shmurda, wants his young fans to know that they shouldn’t do what they hear in his songs, in real life, but mimicking his dance moves is OK. ;

Shmurda, 21, whose hit dance the “shmoney dance” became a viral sensation last summer, has been jailed since December on ;gang conspiracy and gun charges. He faced new charges in July for promoting prison contraband and perjury ;after allegedly taking a knife from his visiting girlfriend, Kimberly Rousseau, and lying to a grand jury about the incident. ;

In an interview ;on Friday with Hot 97, Shmurda called in from jail to say his music is a reflection of what he’s been through but it shouldn’t be imitated by his fans. ;

“The people that do come from where I come from, it doesn’t make it right to — the things that I talk about — to go outside and do it,” he said.

He explained that dancing and having fun to his music is one thing but that’s where it should end. ;

“Don’t take it farther than the club,” he said. ;

Shmurda was joined on the line by his mother, Leslie Pollard, and she said to Hot 97 that the courts want a collateral of his full $2 million set bail ;– not just 10 percent of the bail, as rumored.

According to the New York Post, the rapper’s trial date is set for Feb. 22. ;
