Co-authored with Felecia Commodore and Andrés Castro Samayoa In October 2014 the Obama administration released new rules pertaining to sexual assault on college and university campuses. These rules encourage more transparency in campus judicial processes, enhance survivors’ rights, and call for more educational programs pertaining to consent. These rules are greatly needed as protections for survivors of rape and as a way to mitigate sexual assault’s prevalence on college campuses.
