Andra Day blessed the Red Room stage at Berklee College of Music with her earthquaking vocals. Performing fan favorites “Forever Mine” and “Rise Up” Andra energized over two-hundred people with her nostalgic, funky style and left many in tears with her soulful ballads. A graduate of San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts, Ms. Day has a perfected, talented voice that encompasses jazz, the blues, and R&B. On October 17, Boston was blessed with a powerful, inspiring, and new voice. Andra Day blessed the Red Room stage at Berklee College of Music with her earthquaking vocals. Performing fan favorites “Forever Mine” and “Rise Up” Andra energized over two-hundred people with her nostalgic, funky style and left many in tears with her soulful ballads. A graduate of San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts, Ms. Day has a perfected, talented voice that encompasses jazz, the blues, and R&B.

Andra Day closed the show with a rendition of “Big Poppa” as promised to a dedicated fan. After the sold-out show, she met with many of her fans during a special meet and greet. Most notably, she met with the young voices of A2Z Talent Foundation from Boston, MA. Rebecca Zuma (16), Yamilhee Saint -Val (16), and Jessica Antoine (18) were elevated by Andra Day’s performance. “To have the honor to meet her and hear her words of encouragement was a dream come true,” said Zuma. After hearing A2Z sing, Andra encouraged them and wished them the best in all of their endeavors. “I am going to pray that you get everything you hope for” she told them. Tanisha Stephney, Founder and Director of A2Z Talent Foundation presented Day with memorable gifts which included some of her favorite albums by Etta James, Billie Holiday and limited edition vinyls by Stevie Wonder.
